All users of GSECARS beamlines must apply for beamtime by submitting a proposal to the APS General User Proposal System. Proposals are evaluated by review panels and users will be contacted if beamtime has been allocated for their proposed experiments. There is no cost except for propriety research. After a proposal has been allocated beamtime, the APS Experimental Approval Form must be submitted. New users must complete the APS User Registration Form.
